Led by participation from the Indian government’s Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH) with support from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation India (ONGC) and ONGC Videsh Ltd. (OVL), the objective of IPEX 2011 is to provide a focused marketplace for the buying, selling and trading of oil and gas prospects and producing properties.
This prime business event will showcase opportunities in unexplored oil and gas reserves and prospects for development in India and beyond.
Indian and international government organisations, E&P majors, advisors and service providers will be in attendance at IPEX 2011.
Uniting Energy Capital with Opportunity
The Indian economy is a net importer of almost all forms of energy. This fact, coupled with growing energy needs, has intensified discussions on energy security for the country. As a result the Indian government is actively seeking private investment and technologies to realise the country’s hydrocarbon potential – two thirds of which remain unexplored. At the same time, both government and private sector companies are looking to acquire equity in energy assets abroad.
